Correct me if I am wrong but coronavirus has became some what a psychological problem. It seems to cause fear and panic all around the world but I wonder if its really necessary or are we overreacting? Is there something we don’t know about the virus? Are they trying to cover up smth else with this virus? Max conspiracy theory there. Hashtag not paranoid, i swear.
I mean all the meantime it is said to be less dangerous than regular flue. And then you see videos of people being under ventilators and having breathing problems. Italian death numbers growing and growing. It has passed now China even. I dont understand how they overall number of sick is lower thsn in China but death numbers are higher. How come? Should we point our fingers to origin country now? Expect help? Release our hate? I think not. It does not help any of us to just hate. Hate takes away our good energy and energy is all we need right now. We need all the good energy so our body and mind have fuel to fight whats coming towards us.
I think nobody thought it will reach Estonia. In my head it was something distant that other people had to deal with like it was with SARS. I think we did not have any cases at all. It didnt even reach Estonia. How did this reach us now. Was it really carried home to us? I mean people fearing that it came with foreign sportsmen. I mean maybe they are right. In the beginning there were too many people pointing fingers at people who they thought were sick. It almost felt like middel age witch hunt. Only torches were missing. Everyone who came from abroad was being hated or…. Somehow people dont understand that it is in Estonia already spreading from sports events to birthdays etc. Now since everyone who came from abroad needs to isolate whatabout the other people? Did all people who went to that famious birthday had to isolate? Or the people who were in the bus? How come nobody got infected in the bus? Where people were cramped up together in a small bus for hours? And now some how on a sportsevent it was carried around to so many people and then some people who were not even sick carried it to that drink event? It was on the same weekend?
Everything has stopped now besides food and meds shopping. Its strange how travel agencies are now going to bankruptcy meanwhile the food stores are swimming in money because all the panick buyers who strip off the selves. You can see people buy everything. I mean yes toilet paper is the most groovy hyped up purchase.
To be honest i am very worried about our elderly people. When did we loose common sense and community feeling and it all became about ME Me Me. It breaks my heart to see them in the shops with empty shelves and empty carts. It breaks my heart knowing that there are grannies and granpas and nobody helps them at all. I know some lovely people have started to help their neighbours but this is not enough. Can we not do more for them?
Itd not only elderly who need food. Its also all the medical workers who need food and are fighting to save people’s lives. Seen too many of them crying because there is no food left in the store. Can stores not do something. Leave a stash for people. Stuck up the selves every hour? Special deliveries for elders and medical stuff? I get that food companies are greedy and now is their time to shine but can we not shine more humanly. Thinking about others is good for your karma.
I am also worried about how all this will affect our mental health. People needing to distsnce themselves, spending more time playing video games, on socials. So even if we come out of this physically healthy are we also healthy mentally?
